Dan co-manages ACG. As a Senior Managing Director, he helps to set the strategic direction of the firm. Dan oversees our high net worth consulting practice, and as such, he is involved with new business development activities and ongoing client relationship management. He joined ACG in 1992 and has over 40 years of investment industry experience. Dan received a degree in Communications from the University of Tulsa. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Senior Managing Director

George co-manages ACG and oversees our institutional business. As a Senior Managing Director, he helps to set the strategic direction of the firm. George is a member of ACG’s Investment Committee, which is comprised of senior members of the organization and whose primary task is to ensure continuity and consistency in the investment recommendations to our clients. He works with a broad array of client relationships and brings value to our clients through his strategic advisory, portfolio modeling and evaluation, and ongoing education. Prior to joining our firm in 1996, George was a Vice President for Gershman Investment Corp. in St. Louis. He brings a background in finance and real estate and earned his finance degree from the University of Colorado. George is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Don serves as ACG's Chief Operations Officer. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1984. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Vice President with Walnut Street Securities where he developed their investment management and research divisions. Don also has significant experience trading fixed income securities and managing client relationships. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Finance) and a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Don is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Jason works primarily with the firm's institutional clients. His work involves assisting clients with developing investment policy, asset allocation and portfolio construction, and leading manager search and due diligence efforts. Jason is the firm's Chief Compliance Officer and is a member of ACG’s Investment Committee, which establishes the framework for the firm's investment philosophy and oversees the internal processes used to ultimately make investment recommendations to clients. Jason received his Law Degree from St. Louis University, his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a member of the Missouri and Illinois Bar Association, the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys, the CFA Society of St. Louis, and the CFA Institute.

Haley is a Senior Consultant with significant experience working with both institutional entities and private clients. She collaborates with our clients to develop investment policy, design and construct portfolios, conduct investment manager searches and due diligence, and provide evaluation of investment performance. Haley is a member of ACG’s Investment Committee, which establishes the framework for the firm's investment philosophy and oversees the internal processes used to ultimately make investment recommendations to clients. Prior to joining ACG, Haley was an investment analyst at Moneta Group. There she was responsible for due diligence and ongoing monitoring of actively managed equity and fixed income investment alternatives for high-net-worth and institutional clients. Haley holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute. She is also a member of the St. Louis Women in Investments Network (WIN) and the American Red Cross Society of Women Leaders.

Managing Director
As our Director of Research, Roger oversees the firm's research process.  He is also a member of Asset Consulting Group's Investment Committee, which establishes the framework for the firm's investment philosophy and oversees the internal processes used to ultimately make investment recommendations to clients.  Roger also works closely with a variety of clients to develop investment policy, and to design and construct portfolios.  Originally from South Africa, he has worked in the investment industry since 1993.  Prior to joining ACG, Roger held the position of Regional Investment Manager within Wells Fargo’s Wealth Management Group where he had responsibility for a team of investment managers overseeing $4 billion of client assets.  Roger previously served as Chief Investment Officer of A.G. Edwards Trust Company.  Prior to joining A.G. Edwards in 1999, he gained six years of institutional asset management experience in South Africa, including roles in portfolio management, security analysis and equity trading. Roger has an Honors Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of Natal, South Africa. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Mitch is a Senior Consultant who has provided investment expertise and guidance to ultra-wealthy investor and family office clients, insurance and general corporations and foundations since he joined the firm in 2002. Mitch has over 40 years of experience in the public accounting, investment management and financial services industry. Prior to joining ACG, Mitch orchestrated the investment advisory practice of Ernst & Young’s Midwest region where he consulted to institutional and high-net-worth clients and served on their national investment committee. Mitch received a BA in Accounting from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst designee.

Diane joined ACG in 1992, bringing significant investment accounting knowledge, client servicing, and technical experience to our performance and reporting process. Diane's primary responsibilities involve projects with a focus on developing and implementing processes and methodologies for data gathering, performance reporting, and portfolio evaluation. She has led initiatives such as system transitions, after-tax reporting, new performance monitoring templates, portfolio rebalancing, and new client implementation procedures. Prior to joining ACG, Diane’s experience with Boatmen's Trust Company as a Portfolio Evaluation Officer for seven years included responsibility for all non-custodial accounting and performance reporting. Diane earned her Bachelor in Business Management degree from the University of Phoenix.

Director

Chris is a Senior Consultant in our private client advisory practice where he is responsible for a wide array of client initiatives. He is also a member of ACG’s Investment Committee, which is tasked with ensuring continuity and consistency in the investment recommendations to our clients. Prior to joining ACG, Chris was with a $3 billion high-net-worth family in Atlanta, GA, for ten years, the last six of which he served as the investment manager. His responsibilities included coordinating investment strategy with the family's estate plan, overseeing all third-party investment managers and private equity and direct investments, and planning and executing family meetings and educational programs. Chris was previously a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst with ING Group and prior to that was an Audit Staff/Senior Accountant with Price, Waterhouse in Washington, DC. He obtained his MS in Finance from the University of Colorado and his BSBA in Accounting from Georgetown University. Chris is a licensed CPA and a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

As a Senior Consultant, Nathan’s primary responsibilities include collaborating with clients to develop investment policy, design and construct portfolios, conduct investment manager due diligence, and provide evaluation of investment performance. Nathan has a focus on institutional clients and is a member of ACG’s Investment Committee. Before joining ACG in 2014, Nathan was a Vice President at Wells Fargo, concentrating on traditional and alternative asset managers and managing a rising dividend investment strategy. Prior to that role, he served as a Senior Accountant in public and private accounting, servicing clients in the real estate and brokerage industries. Nathan received his BSBA degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Mike is a Consultant in our private client advisory practice. Mike joined ACG in 2010 and spent more than seven years in our research group evaluating private equity and real estate funds. Prior to joining ACG, Mike was a Manager in KPMG’s Transaction Services group specializing in financial and operational due diligence for private equity firms. Mike received a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. Having been with the firm since 1997, Patty brings valuable investment knowledge and technical expertise to our client relationships. Phinney is a Consultant who advises both institutional and private clients on investment policy, strategic and tactical asset allocation, optimal investment structure, and manager selection. He monitors and evaluates performance of the total fund, asset allocation, and investment managers. Before joining ACG, Phinney was a Principal at Mercer working with numerous institutional clients and was responsible for investment planning, asset allocation modeling, manager research and investment selection. Phinney received his BA degree in Finance and an MBA from the University of Missouri. Beth is a Consultant who works primarily with our institutional clients.  She works on all aspects of the client relationship, including plan design and investment policy development, investment manager review and due diligence, and ongoing portfolio analysis and performance evaluation.  Beth has over 17 years of experience in the financial services arena, where she has worked as an Investment Advisor Analyst for the Investment Management Consulting group at A.G. Edwards & Sons, as Vice President of Operations at Meramec Valley Bank, and as a Bank Examiner for the Missouri Division of Finance.  Beth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Truman State University and her MBA from Webster University.  She is a holder of the Charter Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Kevin is a Consultant who works closely with both institutional and private investor clients.  His primary responsibilities include asset allocation analysis, portfolio construction, investment policy development and review, investment manager searches and due diligence, portfolio analysis, implementation and rebalancing, and performance evaluation.  Prior to this role, he was part of the ACG's Research Team.  Kevin worked as a summer intern at ACG before joining us full-time.  He graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.  Kevin is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Alex graduated from Drury University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.  He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Director
Tom joined ACG in 2001 and is a senior member of our research team. He is primarily responsible for manager identification, due diligence, and selection and monitoring of long/short equity and equity-based event driven hedge fund managers. Tom also helps coordinate manager research and due diligence of traditional equity asset classes. Prior to joining our firm, Tom spent several years working with distressed companies and trustees at the United States Bankruptcy Court. Prior to that, he spent four years at Price Waterhouse performing financial analysis and strategic planning. Tom earned his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and his BA (Cum Laude) from St. Louis University. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Joe joined ACG as an Analyst in our research group in 2005. Craig joined ACG in 2021 as a research analyst.  He oversees the long-only research efforts for global equity and global fixed income and collaborates with consultants and clients to provide idea generation across all long-only asset classes. Craig is the Chair of ACG’s Investment Committee, which establishes the framework for the firm’s investment philosophy and oversees the internal processes used to ultimately make investment recommendations to clients. He previously served as a Principal and Senior Investment Consultant at Mercer where he was responsible for advising clients on asset allocation, investment manager selection and strategy implementation. Craig also served on the Domestic Equity Ratings Review Committee and Equity Strategic Research team. Prior to its acquisition by Mercer in 2018, he was with Summit Strategies Group for seven years where he served multiple roles within investment consulting and public market research where he was the team leader. Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Southeast Missouri State University. He has also earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation.

Bill works as a Senior Research Analyst focusing on the identification, analysis, and ongoing due diligence of non-US equity investment strategies.  Bill joined ACG in 2008 as a member of our consulting group, performing asset allocation reviews, investment manager due diligence, investment policy development and review, portfolio construction and analysis, and general client support services.  Prior to joining ACG, Bill worked at Wachovia Securities (A.G. Edwards), where during his tenure as a Research Analyst he was responsible for analyzing debt, equity and commodity sensitive asset classes, and his duties including collecting data, building analytical models to analyze the data, and making recommendations on his findings.  Bill received a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree with a Minor in Chemistry from the University Missouri-St. Louis and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Saint Louis University.  Bill brings over 28 years of industry experience to our clients.

Roy joined ACG in 2010 and is a Research Analyst. His primary responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing ACG’s proprietary asset allocation modeling software. In addition, Roy works closely with our equity and fixed income analysts to support ongoing monitoring and due diligence efforts. Prior to joining ACG, Patrick worked at Elementum Advisors, a Chicago-based investment firm focused on natural catastrophe reinsurance, where he was primarily involved in catastrophe bond investment research, due diligence, and trading. He is a graduate of Marquette University with a BS in Finance and was a member of the Applied Investment Management program. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Chris joined ACG in 2023 as a research analyst focusing on the identification, due diligence and analysis of investment strategies. Prior to joining ACG, Chris worked at Stifel conducting investment research and selection across mutual funds, ETFs, and separately managed accounts. Before Stifel, Chris spent five years at Mariner Wealth Advisors conducting investment research, managing the firm’s internal model portfolios, acquisition analysis and integration, and providing investment guidance to private wealth and retirement plan clients. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree with a triple major in Business Administration, Economics, and Applied Critical Thought & Inquiry from William Jewell College.

Joe joined ACG in 2023 as a Research Analyst. His primary responsibilities include the analysis, underwriting and reporting of private debt and equity strategies. Prior to joining ACG, Joe was a private debt and equity analyst at Reinsurance Group of America where he was responsible for the due diligence, underwriting, and monitoring of direct lending and equity co-investment opportunities, as well as private equity buyout fund investments. He previously was a senior analyst at NISA Investment Advisors on their Collateral and Valuation team. Joe holds bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Business Analytics from the University of Kansas. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis.

Michael joined ACG in 2022 as a Research Analyst. In this role he serves as a generalist, supporting the research team across the spectrum including data collection, capital markets research, and investment manager due diligence. Prior to joining the firm, Michael served in a dual support role at Krilogy Advisors, primarily focused on trade and compliance issues. He also previously served as a licensed trading specialist. Michael graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in Political Science.

LaDonna joined ACG in 2005.  As part of the performance reporting team, her focus is on managing complex client account structures, establishing procedures to accurately maintain client data, and preparing customized performance reports.  Prior to ACG, LaDonna spent 19 years in the institutional trust departments of both US Bank and Bank of America.  Her numerous roles included client relationship manager, daily valuation coordinator, and special projects consultant.  She holds a BS in Business Administration and Finance from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, as well as the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.

J.T. joined ACG in 2015 as a Performance Analyst, after working as an intern in Performance and Reporting since July 2014.  His primary responsibilities include data compilation, reconciliation and analysis and performance reporting.  J.T. graduated in 2014 from Wabash College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.  He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analysis designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.

Michael joined ACG in 2022 as a performance analyst. His primary responsibilities include data compilation, reconciliation, analysis and performance reporting. Prior to joining ACG, Michael was a Senior Operations Analyst at Towle & Co. where he was responsible for client on-boarding, reporting and back-office operations.  Before his seven years with at Towle & Co., he worked as a Senior Performance Analyst for Mercer/Hammond managing client reporting for many institutional and high net worth clients. Michael has over 15 years of performance reporting and operations experience. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting at McKendree College.

Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri.

Bobbie joined ACG in 2001 and performs several accounting functions within the firm including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing. She is also responsible for preparing and producing internal financial reports as well as assisting with regulatory and compliance issues. In addition to her finance and accounting role, Bobbie also assists the Performance Group where she collects and analyzes portfolio data and prepares customized client reports. Her previous employment included five years with a CPA firm.
